"Because tea should be served cold with lots of sugar in it!"
Bio
My first recollection of marketing having an effect on me happened in 1971- that was a big year for me, I got my first "real kiss" from Amy Underwood behind the dumpsters at Rosewood Elementary and I got my first pair of black PF Fliers high tops. I was convinced that those shoes were the key to making me the fastest second grader at Rosewood. I needed them because my friends and I had formed a neighborhood Harlem Globetrotters team and as guard, I needed the extra quickness they provided. Running up and down Wheat Street in Columbia S.C., convinced me that rubber and canvas and an aspirational message could create marketing magic. I still have a pair today, just in case I need to kick it into a higher gear.
