After graduating as Salutatorian of my high school, I attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where I obtained a bachelor's degree in English. I interned in the Communications Department at the Woodruff Arts Center during my final semester of college in 1999. In the fall of 1999 I began working for Bates USA advertising agency in Atlanta as an account coordinator working on travel and tourism and vacation ownership clients. Luckily I had the opportunity to try my hand at some copywriting and knew instantly that being a writer was my call in life. In the fall of 2000 I began working at the Winfield Consulting Group as a communications associate and shortly became the editor for the company. In August 2002 I began a master's degree program at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at UGA. I received my master's degree in December 2003. For a change of pace and scenery, I moved to Boston, MA in August 2004 where I worked as a Marketing Associate at Tufts Health Plan until May 2006. In May 2006, I began working at iProspect Search Marketing Agency as a copywriter. I love working in SEM because it is such an exciting, cutting-edge industry. Now I'm planning to move back to Atlanta in May to be closer to my family.
